Watching the flames dance into the nighttime sky with beating hand drums to fill the silence, Cheynna Gardner finds healing in her home community of Migisi Sahgaigan, a First Nation on the shores of Eagle Lake, west of Dryden, Ont. Gardner says the flames will burn until the crisis of sexual violence is acknowledged.
